Lourdes Fonseca, a member of the Sheff Movement organizing team presented on the history, goals and mission of the Center for Latino Progress and her work as a community organizer with this Sheff Movement Community-Based Advocacy Team (CBAT) based at CLP.
Sheff Movement Community - Based Advocacy Teams (CBATs) are working groups that develop skills and resources to advocate for the needs of their communities and the wider system. Each CBAT team is designed and led by students and mentors at each organization.
