Community Conversation on School Diversity in Glastonbury Nov. 16
The Glastonbury MLK Community Initiative will host “School Diversity: A Priority for Our Children, Our Community and Our Future” on Monday November 16, 2015 at the Glastonbury–East Hartford Elementary Magnet School (95 Oak Street in Glastonbury).
The evening will start with a reception at 6:00 in honor of Glastonbury’s Open Choice and ABC House students and their families; the program will begin at 7:00.
Phil Tegeler from the Sheff Movement will join panelists Dr. Alan Bookman (Glastonbury’s Superintendent of Schools) and Susan Karp (Chairperson, Glastonbury Board of Education), among others. Check the MLK Community Initiative events page for updates.
